Gifted Program
–The Lisbon Board of Education defines “Gifted” as any students who performs or shows potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to other children of their age, experience, or environment.
–This includes a cognitive score of 117 and the 95th percentile or higher on a nationally normed test of achievement in reading, math, or creative thinking.
– The Board Of Education encourages efforts to provide services for the children who are gifted as an integral part of the total kindergarten through 12 grade program.
